Dreaming of eating
Taking in provision. What you eat, and with whom, decides the reading.
Eating together binds people, so sharing a meal is read as relationship and belonging. Eating alone in the dark, or eating spoiled food, is watched carefully, as food received from an unknown hand is traditionally treated with caution.
The shared table is a covenant image throughout scripture, provision and fellowship together. Read as sustenance being given, or as who you are keeping company with.
Wholesome food is read as lawful provision and knowledge, while spoiled or forbidden food is read as a warning about the source of what you are consuming, materially or otherwise.
Eating maps to what you are taking in emotionally and intellectually, and to appetite for life more broadly.
Food dreams increase with genuine hunger, dieting and disrupted eating schedules. Check the simple explanation first.
