Dreaming of wedding

A joining of two things, families, decisions, seasons. A wedding you are barred from, or a covered bride, warns of a union or agreement proceeding without your full sight or consent.

Covenant imagery. A joyful wedding speaks of blessing on a union; a hidden or forbidden one calls you to examine an agreement being made in shadow.

Marriage in dreams is classically read as a joining of affairs rather than always a literal wedding: a partnership, a contract, or a matter being concluded. A wedding without the usual celebration is read more soberly.

Union imagery points to the integration of two parts of the self, or to a real commitment being weighed. Being excluded from the ceremony commonly reflects feeling left out of a decision that concerns you.

Ceremony dreams cluster around genuine life transitions and around social anxiety about belonging. They often appear when a relationship or commitment is actively on your mind.
